The Department of Social science Of BGS International Residential School organised a Food Fusion Fest- 2023 for Grade 10 as a part of their Civic Club activity. The main objective behind the event was to introduce children to the world of food and culture. The students showcased their signature international dishes in innovative ways by offering tantalising global dishes along with information corners, placards and display boards which emphasized the importance of nutritious and healthy food habits.
Addressing the event Principal Shyamashree Chatterjee lauded the efforts of the students and echoed their message focusing on healthy and nutritious food. She also appreciated and applauded the students for their team work, creativity and added that such activities encourage a sense of creative responsibility among students
Along with introducing participants to the variety of international cuisine it also reinforced basic table manners and etiquettes. The event proved to be a success owing to the creativity and participation of the students and faculty of all departments.
