The world environment day is celebrated every year on 5th June to raise global awareness to take positive environmental action to protect nature and the planet earth.It is a day that reminds everyone on the planet to get involved in environment friendly activities.
BGSIRS FAMILY organised Environment Day celebrations on June 5, 2022. The Principal and Vice Principal of the school, along with the other faculty members, participated in the program in full spirit.
The aim behind organising the Environment Day was to create awareness among people about the importance of keeping the environment clean as well as saving it. Principal of the school, planted five trees in the school premises. The students of classes 1 to 4 were given one tree each to plant in the school garden. The students along with the respective teachers, planted various trees including Sal, Mahogany and Eucalyptus in the school garden.
Students of the junior classes were asked to make posters, banners and innovative bird feeders on the theme of Environment Day. Special assembly conducted. All the students participated in the program with much enthusiasm.
