As we all know its 75 th years of Independence of India and government of India decided to celebrate this year with great excitement and tribute to freedom fighters. Government named the celebration as Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav means nectar of grand celebration which signifies the 75 years of India’s Independence from British Raj. On this day we Indians celebrate to show our tribute to freedom fighters who sacrificed their lives for the nation to bring us the freedom, peace and joy. BGS International Residential School celebrated the 75 th years of Independence day with great pride and enthusiasm. It was a 3 days of celebration, it started from 13 Aug 2022 to 15 Aug 2022. On 13 th ,
14 th and 15 th the day started by hoisting of National flag by our principal Mrs. Shymashree Chatterjee followed by the National Anthem. This curtailed a short celebration by singing a patriotic song. Various competitions like floral rangoli, patriotic group songs were held to instil the patriotism among students. Worthy of its effort, a systematic March fast was done by our students which signified methodology and perseverance. On August 15 th , all our BGS group of institution celebrated this grand occasion on SJBIT ground with the presence of our Mahaswamiji Sri sri sri Dr. Nirmalanandanatha swamiji and our managing director Sri Sri Dr. Prakashnatha Swamiji with all the dignitaries various competitions were held and after the unfurling of the flag by our Maha Swamiji, tricolour balloons were blown up followed by March fast by all the BGS institutions. Various cultural programs were held to invoke the patriotism among all the spectators. Our school had been an inspiration in our neighbourhood and we could see every house with the tricolour flag hoisted on the top of every home under the ‘har gar triranga abhiyan’ .
