Yet another assembly to enlighten the students about conserving our mother earth and our environment !!!

World Environment Day 2023 was celebrated on 5 June with the sole purpose of highlighting the importance of saving our precious environment. This day was first designated by the UN General Assembly on 5 June 1972 and was first celebrated on 5 June 1974. 
BGSIRS has dedicated the whole month of June 2023 to bringing awareness amongst young minds towards the environment and our ecosystem. Students of grade 9 C performed a skit showing the contrast between earth in 1950s and present earth. The theme of the skit gave an evident message stating the degrading condition of the present day earth.  
We as humans have shattered the normal balance of Earth which is slowly making our environment unfavorable for our survival. Hence, it is our duty to reverse the harm we have done and make our environment favorable. Only when we join hands and work together, can we bring a change in our environment.
