The Investiture Ceremony at BGSIRS was a magnificent celebration of leadership and talent, marked by solemnity and grandeur. The occasion began with a reverent invocation, followed by a captivating dance performance on Lord Shiva and Shakti, showcasing the students’ artistic brilliance.
Principal Ms. Shyamashree Chatterjee extended a warm welcome to the esteemed Guest of Honour, Dr. Prakashnath Swamiji, MD of BGS & SJB Group of Institutions and Hospitals, and the distinguished chief guests — Dr. Aarthi Krishna, Deputy Chairperson of the NRI Forum Karnataka; Col. Arun Salhotra, Commanding Officer of the 2nd Karnataka Battalion NCC; Mr. S. Ravikumar, MD and CEO of News First Channel; and Mr. Dodda Ganesh, former Indian Test cricketer.
The ceremony featured thought-provoking quotes from luminaries like Mahatma Gandhi and Swami Vivekananda, inspiring and energizing the audience.
The highlight of the event was the badging ceremony, during which the newly elected council members were felicitated by Swamiji and the chief guests with dignity and solemnity.
The newly appointed School Captain, Vaibhav Lohia, delivered an eloquent and heartfelt speech, emphasizing the essence of teamwork and leadership. The school choir rendered a soul-stirring song, and a visually stunning dance performance on Lord Ganesha further showcased the students’ creative talents.
The event concluded with a memorable photo session, Ashirvachana (blessings) by Swamiji, and a heartfelt vote of thanks, reaffirming the school’s unwavering commitment to nurturing leadership, creativity, and academic excellence.
