“Christmas is tenderness for the past, courage for the present, hope for the future ”. BGS International Residential School celebrated Christmas on 22 December 2023 with great fervour and enthusiasm. It was a treat to watch the students perform their roles with perfection. The Christmas tree was decorated with bells, streamers, stockings, stars and shining lights.
Students enjoyed and tapped their feet to the carols sung by the choir. This was followed by vibrant group dances and skits. Students understood the significance of the festival through a skit depicting the importance of sharing and caring during Christmas and spreading the spirit of joy . The exciting event of the day was the arrival of Santa Claus distributing toffees, bringing lots of cheer and excitement amongst the audience. Our Managing Director Sri Sri Sri Dr.Prakashnath Swamiji distributed cakes to the children which brought smile across their faces. Principal Mrs Shyamashree Chatterjee congratulated the students and appreciated the efforts of students for their splendid performance.
It was indeed true that the warmth of Christmas was felt from the heart and the actions just proved it right!
